Code
The code I chose was for the site, Envy Labs, was of the animated background. The first thing that caught my eye when going to the site was the subtle movement of the background cubes. I thought this was really cool and unique because of the multiple different CSS classes needed to get the different images to move in their own unique ways.
User Interface - UI
The user interface for Envy Labs is very unique and fun. The color pallet is an almost monochromatic theme of blues and whites. There are fun little animations all over the site like the image I am posting of the navigation current icon.
User Experience - UX
Envy Labs made me feel excited and surprised. There are so many unique animations in almost every section of the site. I enjoyed looking over the different coding methods for the many unique animations.
Summary
Envy Labs made a website that is very user friendly, exciting, and yet somehow visually simple. They managed to make a very fun site that still has a simple layout and design by animating many different elements in unique ways. There are so many animations that were new to me that I got lost in code for hours in amazement. I think they were able to really nail the feel of a simple design and excitement of a busy design in a very balanced way.
